Unfortunately, the WiFi access is limited to the pool area, which can be quite inconvenient. The breakfast lacked variety and was not very satisfying, while the room's air conditioning units are aging, resulting in less effectiveness. The inconsistency with the food quality and serving time at the restaurant detracted from the experience, as it often took too long to receive orders. The layout of beds in some rooms might be uncomfortable, as they combine two smaller beds instead of offering a proper double.

My favourite property in Nilaveli. Exceptionally comfortable and perfect place with amiable employees from the General Manager to the room cleaners. Marvellous location on everything from tourist attractions to onward travel options, and only about 5 minutes' walk to Nilaveli centre.

The a double room was budget. The hotel was in a favourable location, by island with national park. Moreover, it was next to Right on the beach as well as the restaurants

The beach...
When we called to book the room and when we booked online it said that the hotel is completly full. But as we arrived the hotel was almost empty. I think this is how you push the price of a room to $ 130 and more. The real value of a room is not more than $ 50. Another thing i would like to mention is that they never tell the truth at the reception desk. We tried to get a flight, bus or train to colombo and the friendly man at the reception desk said that it has to be booked 1 week in advance. But we just walked in to the bus station and their were buses leaving every hour.

The beach was stunning, and the swimming pool was a great place to unwind after a day of exploring. I traveled with a group and appreciated the nice breakfast buffet each morning. it really kickstarted our days. we found the food prices quite steep, and sometimes we opted to catch a tuk-tuk to dine out instead. the beautiful surroundings made our stay enjoyable despite a few hiccups.

Beach was exellent, small waves, very cleane water! Hotel has separete part of beach, inspite of that all beaches in this country are municiple. Service in restorant and bar exellent! Cleaning of iur roon was great! The hotel has it's own security, in the evening man check the territory o hotel and beach during the whole night. When they offered buffet for dinner and lunch it was nice. They have a different menu and very testy, some diches are spicy, but u have choise. There are a lot of fruits every day, grilled seafood.
Staff on the reception was awfull! They dont't understand u and asked about smth more than twice! In the discription of the hotel pointed that there is free internet in the public places, but realy they have no free internet at all, only for money! Safety Deposit Box doesn't work in the whole hotel! If in the hotel only several visitors they dont offer buffet on breakfast, but in the discription of the hotel pointed buffet for breakfast .

Very quiet, picturesque and peaceful place. A lot of nice details such as pairs of hammocks and shaded trees. We highly recommend treating yourself to the candlelit dinner on the beach package they sometimes offer; this was a very special experience! At the time we stayed (mid-May) the heat was actually quite dry but very warm. Whale watching in season is also excellent (although we did this from the Chaaya Blu hotel 30 mins away in a tuk tuk).
As we stayed there slightly off-season and during weekdays it was sometimes a little too quiet and the full range of services wasn't available (e.g. no wifi access or buffet dinner). This wasn't a problem - there was enough choice on the a la carte menu! But it lost a little of the atmosphere compared with busier times. The last 40km of the road to Trincomalee was heavily under construction (May 2012) and not good for those who suffer from motion sickness. On the whole it was a lovely experience and we left feeling very relaxed.

Mmmmmmmm there was little insects outside hanging on the window which I've never seen even I'm a srilankan. But it doesn't bothered us, just wanted to tell as you asked if there something negative things about the hotel.
